You know, an internet business is much like an offlline or “brick and mortar” business.  First of all, because it is on the internet, it has great advantages.  We will go over that in a new post….

 But the basis of any business should be built on a few strong principles.

• Stable or expanding market:  You need to have someone to sell your business product or service to!
• Unique and Consumable products:  Uniqueness is important… otherwise, if your product could be obtained on every website or every corner, you would not be able to exclusively make revenue.  The consumption comes in because you would like to provide a product that could either 1.  be renewed by subscription or 2. If it runs out, would cause a customer to come back to YOU and BUY!
• Timing:  Whether getting in front of a Real Estate Trend or buying a gym when the whole city will be doing a Fat Loss program next year, you want to be in front of a trend. 
• Employ others:  You need to be able to employ the work of others.  When you own your own business, you are going to run out of time, energy and effort.  Using the talents of others to leverage your business is a perfect opportunity.
