This past week, we were honored at the AiMA Monthly Programming Event to understand how Kodak is successfully transforming itself into an innovative leader in digital imaging. The messenger? Jeffrey Hayzlett himself.
Some key take aways for me from Jeffrey’s presentation were:
- Get a new elevator pitch! His 118 second pitch focused on 8 seconds to hook me and 110 seconds to sell !
- On leadership: Set, understand, and honor the conditions of satisfaction for your business.
- No one is going to die: 🙂 meaning, sometimes you have to make a decision and roll with the punches. In the end, no one should die from your decision….
- Grow or die!
- “BUZZ” is not sales. Increase sales, margins, and customer satisfaction for business bottom line.
- GET SOCIAL >>> Engage, Educate, Excite, and Evangelize!
I personally liked how personable and social he was. Was it my bad memory, or did he drop the F bomb in his talk? LOL
Lastly, he gave away over 100 copies of his book, The Mirror Test. He autographed mine and noted in the book “…Go Find Yourself”. That is some powerful advice!
