Google Adwords Certification

Wow!  This past Sunday, I finished the Advanced Test for Search Advertising.  Two tests had to be completed in order to qualify for the Individual Google Certification.

Google Advertising Fundamentals Exam:  This exam covers basic aspects of AdWords and online advertising, including account management and the value of search advertising.
Search Advertising Advanced Exam:  This exam covers intermediate-to-advanced best practices for managing AdWords campaigns.

To study for the exam, I recommend the following:

  • Follow the bullets in the Learning Center for which ever test you are preparing for:  Click here to go
  • Use the HELP box at the top of the Learning Center to further delve into answers and explanations.  After taking the Advanced test, I found that the Learning Center was not as in depth to me, as it could have been and that the HELP search box helps to fortify points via FAQs.

I even Youtubed and Googled some key topics and learned more there.

Lastly, I’ve run my own personal campaigns for years, and been paid rather well by Google Adsense in the past.  Therefore I am very familiar with both sides, referring to the Display Network Ad opportunities.
