13 Aug The Benefits of Failure
Sometimes, it is easy in life to let your dreams and ideas pass you by. In some of these times, you over-think, over-prepare, over-calculate, and sometimes, this causes you to plain old over-fail.
But failure can be good, and it can create snippets of wisdom in those of us who will be “lucky” enough to fail.
Playing it safe as ruined a few of the opportunities that I have had in life. I can definitely think back to some times when a key step in the right direction could have had big payoffs for me… yet I did not take that first step.
Will you play it safe all of your life? Or will you learn constructive failure?
Enjoy this great video featuring Randy Komisar…

Posted at 12:32h, 16 AugustThat’s sweet Man. This guy probably should have been at TED giving this talk. He’s right too about big companies not having models that can withstand high risk/failure. What’s disheartening though is how many small companies also operate in this way.
And don’t get me wrong I understand why small companies are averse to risk, but it just seems that if you’re going to take the calculated risk of starting a small biz, you might as well play to win instead of playing not to lose.
