If you are like me, you are a bit surprised by this video.  It shows a raid of Kim DotCom’s home in New Zealand.  While I am getting caught up on the wanted extradition of the MegaUpload.com owner, I am still trying to figure out if the raid was warranted in this grand scheme of things.

  • We KNOW and appreciate that piracy is illegal.  CHECK.
  • We also KNOW that we are trying to figure out if this guy has made his mansion money on the back totally of pirated software and/or his hosting of the software for download.

But wow!
